WIRIS_editor is committed to fully support the symbols in its [[http://www.wiris.net/demo/editor/docs/toolbar/|toolbar]], and in western keyboards (ISO latin-1).

For symbols not in its toolbar, WIRIS_editor relies on the fonts installed in your server or your browser. 
Today there exists no single font that has all the Unicode symbols. 
WIRIS_editor server uses parts of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STIX_Fonts_project|STIX fonts]], which has the better coverage for Math symbols.
